DESCRIPTION:Fire Prevention Week takes place from October 5 to 11, 2025. As part of the week, the Tofino Volunteer Fire Department invites the community to an Open House at the George Hubert Memorial Fire Hall, 150 Second Street, on Tuesday, October 7, from 5 to 7 PM.\nThis family-friendly event offers residents of all ages the opportunity to meet their volunteer firefighters, tour the fire hall, view the fire trucks up close, and learn important fire prevention tips, including the safe use of lithium batteries. A BBQ by donation will also be available, with proceeds supporting the department.\nThe Tofino Volunteer Fire Department looks forward to welcoming the community and celebrating Fire Prevention Week together.\n
