Meet fellow high-ground hikers at First Street Dock and hike to high ground at the Tofino Community Hall.\nAfter arriving, stick around until 1 PM for the Preparedness Fair to learn about tsunamis and experience Quake Cottage – Canada’s only mobile earthquake simulator.\nTo learn more about tsunami preparedness visit the District of Tofino’s Emergency Preparedness page and Prepared BC.\nSign up for Voyent Alert the District of Tofino’s multi-purpose communication service used to send alerts to residents, businesses, and visitors during critical events like tsunamis, earthquakes, or wildfires.\n
