This exciting education and employment opportunity will provide a candidate, upon successful completion, with an Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) certificate and permanent, full time employment at the Community Children’s Centre in the Child Care Worker position. The District of Tofino’s Community Children’s Centre is a licensed childcare facility offering group care for children aged 30 months to school age.
The ECEA program will be completed through the Pacific Rim Early Childhood Institute’s and is delivered in an online format. The cost of tuition and related requirements will be paid by the District of Tofino. Upon successful receipt of an ECEA certificate and related prerequisites, a full-time, permanent position as Child Care Worker will be available at the Community Children’s Centre.
