2024-2028 Financial Plan
The District of Tofino's 2024-2028 financial planning process is underway. Throughout the planning process, there are opportunities for community engagement.
Short-Term Rental Regulations
Short-term rentals in the District of Tofino are regulated by the District and the Province of British Columbia.

Parking
The District of Tofino has a mix of unrestricted and paid parking areas at beaches and in the downtown core.
West Coast Transit
As of April 2, 2024, the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District will start providing the West Coast Transit service connecting Tofino to Esowista, Ty-Histanis, Ucluelet, and hitac̓u.
News & Announcements
Effective at noon Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, May 18, 2023, most open burning activities will be prohibited throughout the Coastal Fire Centre’s jurisdiction. This prohibition is being enacted to help reduce wildfire risk and protect public safety.
