The District of Tofino is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the full-time position of Human Resources Advisor.

The Human Resources Advisor will be responsible for implementing, and supporting human resources-related activities, including the initial stages of the recruitment process, agreements and packages, communications with the Union, onboarding of new associates, initial stages of job evaluations, supporting and scheduling training activities, maintenance of confidential personnel records, initial stages of grievance resolution, as well as responding to all Human Resource related requests. The HR Advisor position supports HR services and focuses on exceptional customer service, reliable transactional support, critical thinking and interpretation skills on behalf of the District of Tofino.

The Human Resource Advisor will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and offer support to all levels of District employees. The Advisor will promote and support a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace.
