Please be advised that filming activities for a television show will occur at Mackenzie Beach on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Filming preparations will occur from September 12 to 15, 2024.

On September 16, a large film crew will be on-site, accompanied by boats, props, and vehicles.

To accommodate filming:

• Small sections of Mackenzie Beach will be sectioned off.
• Public parking at Hellesen Road will be reduced by half. Accessible parking will be available. Parking and beach access via Mackenzie Beach Road is available as an alternative.
• Public access to the beach will not be restricted, but there may be brief periods when access is paused or rerouted to allow for filming.
• A barge will be anchored offshore, and temporary scaffolding (approved by Fisheries & Oceans Canada (DFO)) will be placed near the high tide line.
• ATVs will be used on the beach during set-up and tear-down.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and cooperate with crews.
