The District of Tofino is seeking public feedback on the proposed Source Control Regulation Bylaw.

This bylaw is designed to protect Tofino’s wastewater system and the local environment by regulating the materials and substances entering the system.

Providing Feedback

Community input is essential to the development of this bylaw. All residents and businesses are invited to share feedback by January 31, 2025.

Questions or feedback can be submitted through Talk Tofino. Additionally, the District will host stakeholder meetings with the business community. These meetings will address industry-specific questions to ensure the bylaw effectively balances environmental protection with practical considerations for local businesses.
