Stage 2 Water Conservation Begins May 29, 2023

May 2023 has been a significantly hotter and drier month than usual. On average, Tofino receives ~150mm of rain in May, this year Tofino has received only ~4.2mm of rain to date. Tofino’s water consumption is up as well, an increase of 10% from May 2022 (up to May 21), and up 50% from 2021. ⁠
