With heavy rain expected and an increased risk of local flooding, the District of Tofino is offering free sandbags for residents & businesses.

Location: Sand and bags are available outside the gate at the Public Works Yard, 620 Industrial Way. Look for the designated sandbag station. Sand and bags will be available 24/7 for the duration of the storm.

What to bring: Please bring your own shovel to fill the bags and ties (e.g., string or zip ties) to secure them.

How much to take: Take only what you need to ensure supplies are available for everyone.
