NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (Zoning Bylaw Amendment)

District Lot 116, Clayoquot Land District, with exceptions (825 Campbell St.)
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Local Government Act and regulations contained in the “District of Tofino Development Approval Procedures Bylaw No. 1301, 2021”, that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 5:00pm at the Council Chambers in the Tofino Municipal Hall at 380 Campbell Street to hear representations from members of the public who deem their interest in property affected by the following bylaw:
District of Tofino Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1315, 2022 (Amending Tofino Zoning Bylaw No. 770) proposes to change the zoning of the subject property from Rural District (A2) to Campbell Street Neighbourhood CD Zone (CSN). This change will facilitate the construction of a 55-unit apartment building and 24 single family lots on a portion of the subject property.
All persons who deem their interest in property affected by the proposed bylaw will be given an opportunity to be heard on matters contained in the bylaw. Further information may be requested for inspection at the Tofino Municipal Office, 121 Third St., Tofino, B.C. during regular business hours (9:00am -12:00pm/1:00pm - 4:00 PM), Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. Written submission may be sent by mail to the District of Tofino, PO Box 9, Tofino, B.C., V0R 2Z0, or by email to ac.onifot@ekcihtp.
