BC Hydro has announced a scheduled overnight power outage across the District to support infrastructure upgrades along Highway 4, near the northern edge of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

The outage will occur from Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:30 PM to Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 5:30 AM.

Prepare in Advance
To help protect your electronics and appliances during the outage, please:

• Unplug all electronics
• Turn off all lights, electric heaters, and major appliances

Considerate Generator Use
As the outage is scheduled overnight, the District encourages all residents to be mindful of their neighbours and only use generators if necessary.
