The District of Tofino's Bylaw Services Department provides residents with a variety of services related to regulatory matters. Bylaw Services attempts to gain compliance first through education and communication, and, where required, ultimately through enforcement actions such as issuing tickets or pursuing more robust legal solutions.

Our primary goals are:

Public safety
Maintaining community standards, which contribute to improving the quality of life in Tofino
Managing behavioural and nuisance issues to promote a harmonious living environment
