The District of Tofino is proud to support local non-profit organizations and community initiatives through the 2026 Council Grant Program. Council has approved funding for the following organizations. Congratulations to all recipients:

• Tofino Community Enrichment Society
• Tofino Public Market Society
• Tofino Surf Lifesaving Club
• Ucluelet Aquarium Society
• West Coast Community Resources Society

$39,780 in grant funding was approved, along with in-kind use of the Tofino Community Hall for select programs and events.

This grant supports a wide range of community benefits, including local programming, volunteer-led initiatives, social services, arts and culture, environmental stewardship, recreational opportunities, and events that bring people together.
