The District of Tofino is seeking feedback on a proposed amendment to the Municipal Alcohol Policy (Events), which governs the serving of alcohol at public events on municipal property.

The proposed amendment would allow District staff to approve permits for recurring events that remain substantially the same from year to year while still requiring Council approval for first-time or significantly changed events.

This change aims to streamline the permitting process while maintaining public safety and oversight.
