SMILE Program (55+)

The SMILE (Support Meals Improving Lives of Elders) program brings seniors together to connect, share stories, and engage in exciting activities over a healthy lunch prepared by local chefs with your community. Every week brings fresh opportunities to explore crafts, presentations, skill-sharing sessions, and much more.

The program extends beyond the community hall by packaging the soups prepared during the social and delivering them to seniors at home through the Pacific Rim Hospice Society’s Better at Home Program. This service ensures homebound seniors receive nutritious meals and remain connected to the care and support of their community.

To access meal delivery, contact Panagiota at betterathome@pacificrimhospice.ca or call 250.266.3780. Any remaining soups are available for purchase at the Community Hall on a sliding scale of $4-6, with proceeds supporting the continuation of this valuable program.
