The nomination period for the District of Tofino’s 2026 General Local Election is now open and will close on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 4 PM.

Eligible candidates can now submit nomination papers to run for Mayor or one of six Councillor positions.

If you have not yet picked up your nomination documents, you can request them in person at the District of Tofino Municipal Office during regular business hours.

General Voting Day will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
