Residents' Beach Parking

Eligible Tofino, Ahousaht, Opitsaht, Esowista, Hesquiaht and Tyhistanis residents can register online for a free annual permit.

Pursuant to section 127(2) of the Community Charter and section 22 of the District of Tofino Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 1229, 2016, notice is hereby given that a Special Council Meeting will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. for the purposes of the 2022-2026 Draft Financial Plan.

Peterson Drive Tonquin Trail Access Closure

October 20, 2021

Access to Tonquin Trail via Peterson Drive is due to close on Monday, October 25, 2021.
The trail closure is necessary to allow construction of the first Headwaters affordable rental housing building at District Lot 114 to commence.
Tonquin Trail will remain open and accessible from the trailhead at the Community Hall, via the Tonquin Connector and Tonquin Park Road.
