The District of Tofino invites all residents to participate in shaping the future of recreation and parks services in the District by completing the Recreation & Parks Survey.

Results from this survey and other methods of public engagement will help guide the development of the Recreation & Parks Master Plan. Upon its completion, this plan will shape how the District delivers recreational opportunities and manages parks to meet the needs of the community, both now and in the future.

Your participation is essential to ensure the plan reflects local needs and priorities.

The survey & other engagement methods will gather community input on:

• Current uses of recreation and parks facilities and spaces
• Barriers and challenges to participating in recreation
• Needs and expectations for future recreation services, including facility and programming gaps
• Values related to recreation service delivery
• Opportunities to improve access and inclusion

The survey can be accessed here. A physical copy of the survey can also be obtained at the District of Tofino Municipal Hall at 121 Third Street.

The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, November 1, 2024.
