The District of Tofino kindly reminds all property owners and occupants to keep water meter access points clear at all times.

As outlined in the District of Tofino Water Utility Bylaw No. 1346, 2024, water meters must remain free of any obstructions. This includes overgrown brush, debris, construction materials, or any other items that may block access.

District staff will be reading meters in the coming weeks, and providing unobstructed access enables them to safely and efficiently read, inspect, and maintain the meters.

Blocked meters may lead to service delays or disruptions.
