We are heartbroken by the lives lost, the people injured, and the lasting impact this tragedy will have on families, friends, and the entire community. No community should ever have to endure an event like this.

We stand with Tumbler Ridge, and we mourn alongside a community facing unthinkable loss.

We also want to acknowledge the teachers and school staff, RCMP and first responders, health care professionals, and community leaders who acted with courage and care in the face of unimaginable circumstances.
