Residents are invited to enjoy a day of community connection, recreation, and friendly competition at the Recreation Expo on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10 AM to 6 PM at the Village Green.

The Recreation Expo highlights local recreation opportunities, activities, organizations, and community connections. Attendees can connect with District of Tofino Recreation staff, learn more about local programs and services, and share feedback on the draft Recreation & Parks Master Plan, helping shape the future of recreation and parks in the community.

Tofino 3v3 Basketball Tournament
Back for its third year, the Tofino 3v3 Basketball Tournament returns for another day of fast-paced half-court action. Expect high-energy games, music, friendly competition, and teams from across the region competing in a fun and electric community atmosphere.

“Ruler of the Court” Pickleball Tournament
This fast-paced pickleball tournament features a dynamic king/queen-of-the-court format where players rotate partners and opponents throughout the event. With quick matches and constant movement up and down the rankings, players of all skill levels can jump in, compete, and have fun.

Wickaninnish Elementary Grade 7 Fundraiser
The Wickaninnish Community School Grade 7 class will also be on-site, hosting a BBQ and baked goods sale, with proceeds supporting their graduation trip.
