The Tofino Free Shuttle will conclude its seasonal service on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Since June 24, the shuttle has provided convenient transportation for residents & visitors throughout the summer, connecting Long Beach, Ty-Histanis, Esowista, the Tofino Visitor Centre, and downtown Tofino.

The Tofino Shuttle has operated since 2009 and has been free of charge since 2014. Funded primarily by the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI), it operates in partnership with Tourism Tofino, with support from the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and Parks Canada.

As the service wraps up, please note that on September 3 and 4, only one bus will be in operation, as Bus 2 will not be available. Please refer to the schedule for availability.

Those in need of transit services beyond the Free Shuttle’s conclusion are encouraged to utilize West Coast Transit, which provides connections between Tofino, Esowista, Ty-Histanis, Ucluelet, and hitac̓u.
