To help reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires, the Coastal Fire Centre will prohibit Category 1 campfires effective Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12 PM. This prohibition is in addition to the Category 2 and 3 fire prohibitions that have been in place since May 7, 2026.
The District of Tofino Municipal Office will be closed on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
