District of Tofino Public Works crews successfully isolated and repaired a leak on a submarine water pipeline connecting Tofino to its drinking water reservoirs on Meares Island in the Haahuulthii of the Tla-o-qui-aht Ha’wiih. Stage 2 Water Conservation remains in effect, and all other temporary restrictions have been lifted.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the Local Government Act and regulations
contained in the “District of Tofino Development Approval Procedures Bylaw No. 1301, 2021”, that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 5:00pm at the Council Chambers in the Tofino Municipal Hall at 380 Campbell Street.
The District of Tofino’s 2022 Annual Municipal Report is now available for public inspection in person at Municipal Hall, or online at tofino.ca/reports-plans.
