Parking

The District of Tofino has a mix of unrestricted and paid parking areas at beaches and in the downtown core.

West Coast Transit

As of April 2, 2024, the Alberni Clayoquot Regional District began providing the West Coast Transit service connecting Tofino to Esowista, Ty-Histanis, Ucluelet, and hitac̓u.

The Council of all Beings for Mayor and Council was written by Heather Hendry, Tofino Poet Laureate (2022-2024) and performed at the Inaugural Meeting of Council on November 1, 2022.

Beach Parking Permit Renewals

October 18, 2022

Annual beach pay parking permits will expire on October 31, 2022. Permit holders are encouraged to renew existing passes prior to expiry to ensure permits are up to date.
