Single-Use Items
Effective April 22, 2026, the District's Single-Use Item Regulation Bylaw will prohibit the sale of plastic water bottles 1 litre & less.

News & Announcements
The District of Tofino has published its Water Master Plan. Designed in collaboration with McElhanney Ltd., the plan outlines a 20-year strategy to mitigate water scarcity challenges.
A Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 5:00pm at the Council Chambers re. District of Tofino Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1326, 2023.
The District of Tofino was recently notified that the grant application to fund a portion of the Tofino Community Recreation Facility was not successful.
