The District of Tofino would like to remind residents that Property Taxes are due no later than 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. ⁠

Here are the convenient methods available for paying your Property Taxes:⁠

• 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Please allow at least four business days for payments to reach the Municipal Hall.⁠
• 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥/𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫: Send cheques or bank drafts to PO Box 9, 121 Third Street, Tofino, BC, V0R 2Z0.⁠
• 𝟐𝟒-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐭: Located at the entrance of the Municipal Hall, available for dropping off payments at any time.⁠
• 𝐈𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧: Visit the Municipal Hall to make your payment, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 12 PM & 1 to 4 PM. Note that credit card payments are not accepted.⁠
• 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲: Arrange payment through your mortgage company if applicable.⁠

Please be aware that unpaid 2024 Property Taxes will incur a 10% penalty if not received by the due date. Also, note that the District of Tofino Municipal Hall will be closed on Monday, July 1, 2024, for Canada Day.⁠
