The wide range of services we provide include building and development, parks, recreation, childcare, and protective services such as bylaw enforcement, fire protection, and emergency planning. Residents' Beach Parking
Eligible Tofino, Ahousaht, Opitsaht, Esowista, Hesquiaht and Tyhistanis residents can register online for a free annual permit.
Water & Sewage
Tofino’s tap water is collected with gratitude from the rainforests protected by Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks in the Hahuulthii of the Tla-o-qui-aht Ha'wiih.

The District of Tofino is hosting a Community Town Hall to discuss Tofino’s drinking water on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM in the Council Chambers and online. This event is open to all members of the public, residents are welcome to join in person or via Zoom.
