Service Concluded: Tofino Free Shuttle

The Tofino Free Shuttle concluded its seasonal service September 1, 2025.
Since June 27, the shuttle has provided convenient transportation for residents & visitors throughout the summer, connecting Long Beach, Ty-histanis, Esowista, the Tofino Visitor Centre, and downtown Tofino.
The Tofino Shuttle has operated since 2009 and has been free of charge since 2014. Funded primarily by the Resort Municipality Initiative (RMI), it operates in partnership with Tourism Tofino, with support from Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation and Parks Canada.
Those in need of transit services are encouraged to utilize West Coast Transit, provided by BC Transit, which connects Tofino, Ucluelet, Long Beach, the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ community of hitaću, and the Tla-o-qui-aht communities of Esowista and Ty-histanis.
The service operates seven days a week, with nine roundtrips provided on weekdays between 7 AM and 11 PM and an additional eight roundtrips each Saturday and Sunday between 7 AM and 9 PM.
