Please be advised that from Wednesday, June 25 to Friday, June 27, a section of the Multi-Use Path (MUP) just south of the Tofino Seaview Cemetery will be closed.

The closure will cover approximately 500 metres of the MUP to allow for the installation of hydro poles in the area.

Work will take place daily from 7AM to 7 PM. The MUP will be open for use outside of work hours.

During this time:

• MUP users wishing to travel beyond the closure will be required to share the roadway with vehicles.
• Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist and direct both vehicle and MUP traffic.
• Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place on Pacific Rim Highway near the work zone.
• Users should expect delays and plan their route accordingly.
