A reminder that property taxes are due by the end of the day on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. A 10% penalty will be applied to all unpaid property taxes received after this date.

Now Available: Online Payments

The District of Tofino now offers a simple and secure online payment option for various services, including property taxes. Payments can be made 24/7 using a credit or debit card.

In addition to online payments, the District accepts payment for property taxes in the following ways:

• In Person: Visit the Municipal Office during regular business hours. Note – The District of Tofino Municipal Office is closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, for Canada Day.
• Drop-Off Box: Available 24/7 at the Municipal Office entrance.
• Through Your Mortgage Company or Financial Institution
• By Mail: Not recommended at this time, as payments must arrive by the due date to avoid a penalty.

Eligible homeowners must claim the grant directly with the Province, online or by calling.
