The District of Tofino is sharing an update from the Ministry of Transportation and Transit regarding a full closure of Highway 4 between Chalet Road (Cameron Lake) and Aspeden Road (Port Alberni) on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

During the closure, crews will align barriers, remove hazard trees, and maintain the rockfall fence in the area.

Please follow the direction of all traffic control personnel and signage in the area.
