Do you know what to do if there is a tsunami alert in Tofino?

As a part of Tsunami Preparedness Week, join the District of Tofino for the High Ground Hike on Saturday, April 13, at 10 AM to practice getting to a tsunami-safe location at “high ground”. Meet fellow high-ground hikers at First Street Dock and hike to high ground at the Tofino Community Hall.

After arriving, stick around until 1 PM for the Preparedness Fair to learn about tsunamis and experience Quake Cottage - Canada's only mobile earthquake simulator.
