Effective Monday, September 9, 2024, the District of Tofino will lift Stage 1 Water Restrictions. No remaining water restrictions will be in effect until further notice.

The Tofino Free Shuttle will conclude its seasonal service on Wednesday, September 4. Those in need of transit services beyond the Free Shuttle’s conclusion are encouraged to utilize West Coast Transit.

Starting at 12 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, the Category 1 campfire prohibition in the Coastal Fire Centre area, which includes Tofino, will be lifted.
