Report to Council: Bill 35 – Principal Residence Requirement

At the March 11, 2025, Regular Council Meeting, the verbal report titled "Bill 35 – Principal Residence Requirement" was presented for information. After the presentation and discussion, Council passed the motion:

"THAT staff be authorized to prepare a consultation and engagement plan regarding opting out of the principal residence requirement under Bill 35 in 2026 and report back to Council prior to February 1, 2026."
