At the Regular Council Meeting on November 28, 2023, Tofino Mayor Dan Law addressed the recent Short-Term Rental Accommodations Act proposed by the Province on October 16, 2023. Read the statement.
Notice to all residents & businesses located west of First Street along Arnet Road and surrounding streets. There will be a planned water shutdown on Thursday, November 30, 2023. The shutdown will begin at 9:00 AM and end no later than 6:00 PM.
There is a planned water shut off for a section of Fourth Street on November 29, 2023 and local traffic disruptions in the area from November 27 to December 1, 2023.
