Starting July 25, be advised of construction and traffic disruptions near the junction.

In order to meet growing demand in Tofino, BC Hydro needs to upgrade the power line into town from the Long Beach substation. As part of the upgrade, BC Hydro will be installing underground infrastructure near the Highway 4 junction.

Please expect minor delays as construction will require singlelane alternating traffic.

To ensure the safety of workers, we remind drivers to reduce their speed in construction zones and follow directions from flaggers. We appreciate your understanding while we undertake this important work and apologize for any inconvenience.
